I’m excited for this game as much as I’m excited for the LSU Florida game .

One of the better rushing offenses first one of the better rushing defense is I’m curious to see which will succeed. Ole Miss cannot throw the ball this year... I’m assuming Missouri is just going to load the box and if they do I think that Ole miss will struggle.

I hope so! Lets go Mizzou! We need to show the rest we are not laying down to the other SEC teams for the rest of the season!

If Cale Garret was there I'd be confident, but he's not.

His replacement might even be physically better, overall,
however Garret could arrange the whole defense or change things around if need be and make sure guys knew what to do.

Nick Bolton can do some of that and Wilkins should be able to handle himself, but it makes us a bit more prone to big plays I think.

I think you all can win but only if you get lot of points off turnovers or points off big running plays. I'm really more afraid of the running plays.

If our Dline controls their Oline 20+ isn't generous enough.

ETA: OM is pretty good

I think this game will be closer than many expect. With the exception of the Alabama game, our defense has done really well. Secondary is still a concern but if we can develop a pass rush then it'll help those young guys out.

Missouri 31 Ole Miss 28

On paper, Mizzou should win. But with Cale Garrett out (look him up LSU fans, he plays defense for Mizzou which is a team in the SEC East and a state that when its people poops into the Missouri or Mississippi, it all streams down to you), and a QB that might play but not run, our options are limited.

Love Ole Miss fans, love the campus, love the people. Next to Mizzou and TCU, one of the only other teams and schools I hope does well on a weekly basis. Safe travels to whoever is driving up.

Love the way Plumlee is playing for Ole Miss but Mizzou's defense appears to be for real and if Bryant is able to play Missouri rolls in this one

I only see two potential results of this matchup. Either OM wins by less than a TD or Missouri wins by about 18 points. Missouri is a much more complete team than OM is. The only reason I give OM a chance is that we just don't know how good the OM offense can be with Plumlee yet. Things changed drastically for OM since he became starter. The stats from the first 4 games almost have to be tossed out the window when it comes to OM's offense.

It's very clear that Missouri will score on the OM defense due to the shakey secondary. The question is how many big plays they give up and is Plumlee and the RB's able to find some creases like Wyoming did or will it be more like the last 4 games for Missouri where they stopped teams from running.

Should be fun to watch just due to the contrasting styles and the youngins that are playing.

If Drew Lock was playing, then yes, a shaky secondary would cause Ole Miss issues, but Bryant is not as good in the passing game as Lock, plus our receivers have a tendency from time to time, sometime more often than not, of dropping very good passes, so while it is a reason for concern, I wouldn't put too much stock into it.
