First meeting Oct 27, 1894

Grover Cleveland was president

Overall on-field record - 51-9-2

Average Ole Miss wins per decade <1

Here are a few historic events from the year 1894...in the time that has passed, OM has not managed to crack double digit wins against the Pride of the SEC:

Jan 27th - 1st college basketball game, University of Chicago beats Chicago YMCA 19-11

Mar 12th - Coca-Cola is sold in bottles for the first time in Vicksburg, Mississippi

Sep 15th - Japan defeats China in Battle of Ping Yang

Dec 22nd - United States Golf Association forms (NYC)

Dec 25th - 1st midwestern football team to play on west coast, University of Chicago defeats Stanford 24-4 at Palo Alto, CA in football

Here is probably the main historical event from the state of MS for the year 1894:
Legislature adopts official state flag of Mississippi (The new flag depicted the stars and bars of the Confederacy in the upper left corner. It replaced the Magnolia Flag.)

The US Flag looked like this in 1894:

This was the car:

List of inventions from 1894:
Mousetrap
Disposable Medical Glove

So...in the span of time it has taken Ole Miss to defeat Bama 9 times, we have gone
from this:

Lol at bammers making a big deal out of beating Ole Miss. They are something like 10-30-1 against Auburn all time. Something like 5-18 since the western division was created

Did you know that in 121 years, Alabama has only played in Oxford 11 times?

No, you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to hark back to the long ago past for solace AFTER Ole Miss stomps your guts out this year...again.

Bo Wallace did to the A&M defense on the road in front of the record crowd what swag did to the Frenso defense.

Think about that. Bo Wallace.

Texas A&M has never lost in oxford. Throughout the entire history of existence, there has never been a single occurrence of Texas A&M sending a football to oxford that has been beaten by Ole Miss. I'm not counting on it

Johnny Manziel isn't stepping on that bus this year. You saw what happened last year when he wasn't there to save the day.

Haven't you heard? Bo Wallace is twice the quarterback Chad Kelly is. No way we can replace him.
