Ole Miss run defense

In the last 3 games vs Ole Miss, State has rushed for 1,060 yds. That's 353.3 ypg. Has there been a worse rush defense and can they turn it around?

Last years defense was the worst I’ve ever seen. They looked like a high school defense

Sadly for you you cannot roll those yards over to future games. At least you went 2-1 in that poor stretch. Rebs coming up

I anticipate decent improvements with a new system and experienced play caller. The McGriff experiment did not work. Unfortunately no other DCs wanted to work for Freeze.

Matt Luke is definitely not the problem but I'm not sure he's the solution either. I really like his coordinator hires and the recruiting plan though. We will see.

McGriff was like our Sirmon. The only 2 differences was State couldn't stop the pass and McGriff stayed longer than Sirmon.

Yea, after purposely taking out our starting quarterback. It changed the whole game and almost came back and won with a true freshman.

Problem is most those 4 and 5 star defensive players ole miss had were high and doped up.

UM has won 3 of the last 5 vs State. Fortunately for MSU, the Col Reb Black Bear Sharks got caught with their hand in the cookie jar and took a big step back... which still has been a split over last 2 years. Would you like a cookie?

if you think it was on purpose. We had our backup in too. Quit using that excuse. It doesn’t work.
