this is not an opinion. It is a fact. Probably the only one in this thread so far.

How long do civil cases like this generally take to play out?

Two things could possibly happen....

1. Case gets settled out of court with no details released. Msu fans rejoice and will for years to come, post things as "fact"

2. Case gets thrown out....msu fans say the same shite regardless of outcome....

I think the article is worth ready, if only for the part where they allege that Denzel ripped his shirt off and yelled, "I'm gonna kill this mother fricker!"

I LOL'D on that one.

Burch, Porter, and Johnson is an awfully reputable law firm that's putting itself well outside it's general area of expertise in this case. The firm name attached to the case is by far the biggest tell that it's a legitimate complaint that is going to have to be fought as such by the Nkemdiche brothers. This is VERY far removed from a typical ambulance-chasing law firm.

By far the most likely outcome is a settlement out of court for an undisclosed amount with a confidentiality clause preventing details from ever coming to light.

Regardless, it's more bad press in a week/month filled with bad press, much of which involves those two brothers.
