Ole Miss Rebels vs LSU Fighting Tigers -a great classic reborn- (stories etc)

As I few of you may know always a difficult game for me because I played a little for Ole Miss in the 80s, I have two degrees from Ole Miss, my dad was a bagman for the rebels, and hated LSU with a passion for trying to hurt Archie, (we lived right by him in married student housing and he used throw us kids a nerf ball or something
), the ole Miss coaches used to stay at my house, usually in my room on recruiting trips to my hometown, I was an original member of save the flag with Frank Hurdle etc. I still love the rebels.

But even at Ole Miss everyone knew I was an LSU fan. I grew up in Baton Rouge, my little brother, and countless cousins, and uncles played at LSU and my grandfather was a LSU recruiter and huge fan and would have played for the Tigers but he got my grandma pregnant.
Multiple year all state middle linebacker from Bogalusa. If LSU had expressed any interest in me I would have murdered and eaten someone to play.

So I love both schools and always have and typically pull for the team that has a better chance to go to championship etc.

My dad bought us ole miss football uniforms for Christmas and my grandfather counted with LSU uniforms and a team signed ball, so my dad would get us an ole miss signed ball etc. It was awesome. Unfortunately both of them were gone by the time my brother and I were in school.
