I think they got a fantastic schedule this year. Two of their road games are State and Kentucky who are probably the two worst teams in the league right now. I have them losing in Athens and Norman so that’s two losses. The difference in 8-4 and 10-2 is probably those three home games against LSU, SC, and Florida. I don’t think I’d pick them to win all three but I wouldn’t pick them to lose all three either.

I guess you never know with the Egg Bowl sometimes, it was closer than it had any right to be both of the last two years. But certainly not picking State to win that as we sit here today.

Yep the Ole Miss schedule is a complete joke for an SEC team schedule along with Mizzu's joke schedule.

I would put Ole Miss at 8-4 but if that QB is the real deal they might go 9-3.

That's what I'm thinking. We lost a lot on both sides of the ball but the schedule is favorable. Just depends on Kiffin's recruiting and what transfers contribute. Hopefully we'll run the ball better than last year and can try to play ball control to keep the defense off the field.

Ole Miss OOC 2025 G-5 schedule:

Aug. 30 - Georgia State

Sept 20 - Tulane

Oct 11 - Washington State

Nov.8 - The Citadel

Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin are running from the big boys, and it shows, dude.

Man Ole Miss fans are really delusional about their roster

2021 10-3
2022 8-5
2023 11-2
2024 10-3

So a pattern has been established to a degree no?

This might be the most complete roster Kiffin has had while at OM. Maybe not the top end highs, but shouldn't have the holes these other rosters have had. Across the board more talent without the vulnerabilities. QB is green, but the guy is laser focused and IQ wise scores off the charts.

Is 9-3 really delusional? If so, you are calling the vegas odds makers delusional.

Sure. prior to last year the defense was miserable. Last year we did not have a RB and the OL was avg.

D will be good this year, won't have a Walter Nolan, but there is a lot of talent scattered on D, no major holes.

Off will improve at almost every position.

If you are so sure, go put some money on the under. Vegas is locked in at 8.5 wins.

Anyone can see Ole Miss and Mizzu have joke schedules considering they are SEC teams. It would be difficult to make them any easier.

Maybe we should have scheduled USC and Wake Forest to help strengthen the schedule a bit......Oh!!! We did.

This was already covered in this very thread as well as multiple other times on this board. You're more than welcome to re-read the thread and actually enlighten yourself. I can't speak for Mizzou's.

Wazzu would beat both teams that ducked us (wake and USC).

WR we should be good, our stud was hurt most of the season last year anyways.

QB is the almost part of it.

Lost the best DLine OM ever had. Young talent and transfers so we will see how it shakes out. Linebacker group will help the front 4 tremendously.

Amount of churn every year makes it hard to predict but so far Lane and the boys have done well getting everyone assimilated into the systems. Bolstering RB room was a tremendous need and shortfall last year.
