AU hiring Freezus has broke the Rebs on this board just look at all the threads started by them about Hugh. I honestly think it is worse for them than if we got Lane. Agent Cohen went Savage on them.

I mean, sure a lot of Ole Miss fans are discussing the topic but what do people expect? They just hired our former coach after courting our current coach for weeks.
OM fans aren’t melting, it’s overall decent discussion with a few cheap shots here and there. I’ll tell you one thing, the small amount of legit discussion regarding freeze on the board is coming from OM fans, folks from all the other schools are only making shitty whore jokes

You're just upset that Lane Kiffin's biggest troll job ever was the entire Auburn program.

Freeze only beats Bama. He only beat Arkansas one time and consistently lost games he shouldn't (Memphis 2015, as one example).

We are laughing. Good luck with defensive coaches and recruits. He left the program in shambles. He would have gotten fired for his record if he didn't need hand jobs on every recruiting trip. He just got skull drug by NM ST. Good luck.

Y'all keep saying this yet he keeps staying. He's now entering year #4 in Oxford. By the way, I hear his entire family loves it there. If you don't want to love Oxford, don't take the visit.

I'm apathetic about the Freeze hire. While he led us to some good times, his tenure ended in disaster and crippled the program for a few years. Now that we've had some recent success, I don't harbor any ill will towards him anymore.
I do think he will be good for Auburn. He is a very good recruiter and has developed some good QBs, both of which can carry a program.
Despite the less than stellar ending to our season, I think most Rebs fans are happy about the current state of our program. Expectations are high for the future too. I can say without question that we do not want to do this coaching carousel dog and pony show every offseason with, though.
I do think he will be good for Auburn. He is a very good recruiter and has developed some good QBs, both of which can carry a program.
