Now everyone is going to let LSU get a 28 point lead and try to sneak back into victory while the defense is asleep.

It is a joke, but there is a lot of truth to that. Coach O is very loathe to completely demolish another team. He doesn't like to run the score up.

Barring a complete collapse by Arkansas, which is something that can easily happen, I don't expect LSU to cover the spread against the Hogs. Not that I think LSU is over rated, I just have a hard time seeing Coach O run it up on an interim coach, especially after he's been in that position himself.

If I was A&M or Arkansas I would strongly consider running the ball, killing the clock, and keeping that LSU offense on the sidelines as much as humanly possible. Even if means going for it on 4th and short on your side of the field.

I think/hope we're going to be sitting some players too

I fully expect if LSU gets a big lead, and y'all should being the number 1 team in the country, that Coach O will rotate the starters out fairly early. Nobody wants to see Burrow catch a fluke injury when y'all are up 28 points.
