I thought it was incredible that it was their first SEC win since 2006 and they won taking down Florida. I mean, what are the chances there. Still remember 96 when LSU took down Florida and made the cover. It was the start of something good.

After we beat Florida ending their long SEC winning streak in 1997 and Faulk was on the cover of SI, we laid an egg at home the next week against Ole Piss and Tubbs.

I didn't credit this win to Nutt though, in recent history, Ole Miss plays well against florida.

Does'nt matter if they lose this weekend. They deserved the cover more than Oregan St and Alabama. That's a win for the ages at the swamp to a real good offensive team. Florida showed some weakness on D. that alot of teams are going to capitalize on. Plus The Oregon State U won at home, and doggonit Georgia sucks. Saw that against Arizona.

You all may be right about Nutt not being a great coach, time will tell. But he is definitely a upgrade from coach O.

Congrats Ole Miss for making the cover of SI. If I were you, I'd go buy a copy and frame it.
That's what I did back in 97 when LSU made the SI cover after taking down a #1-ranked Florida team led by Steve Spurrier.
As for how someone above pointed out how Oregon State didn't get the cover... yeah, that kinda sucks for them being that they took down the #1 team. Maybe Oregon State already got on the cover when they took down #3 Southern Cal two years ago.
