He is awesome. Seriously. He played well, got hurt, lost the job to Trinidad and then later in the season got thrust into the Oklahoma game in the redzone and overthrew a couple of wide recievers due to nerves, adrenaline, whatever. It was a tough spot. He just needs some consistent playing time and he is going to be awesome for Mizzou.

Missouri hasnt had this kind of arm talent since Lock graduated. His command of the condensed part of the field is my biggest question about him. Riley has get him throwing that area open instead of trying to jam throws in on the curls, slants and crosses once he sees it open.

If Simmons hits Mizzou will be a problem.

i think he'll be very good this year once he settles in -- that one drive against UGA was a masterpiece...super strong arm, accurate - just has to not try and force things

I knew he would be soft as soon as he dipped on Florida when another QB committed. He couldn't compete at Ole Miss either, so naturally he downgrades to Mizzou to have a chance.

If he fixes his decision making then he will be more than decent. Like Henry said I think immaturity and youth were his problem because it led to him pressing too much.
