I think he will be back even going 4-8 unless he has another embarrassing loss- like a Southern Illinois for example.

One bad year, two cotton bowls isn't exactly a failure. He's not terrible like many claim he is. If I had to take anyone else I would take either Saban or Gary Patterson.

You do realize that's what this thread is about right? Literally this thread was about how we feel about Nutt and who we would take when he's fired. The new State fans get worse and worse.

I think he play book is similar to the one I used to run on Tecmo Bowl. Its really a joke. He calls the plays and has an on paper OC so when things go bad like on Saturday. Its not his fault, to the casual fan. He is so egotistical that it makes me sick. He never admits he was wrong. Just says shite like gotta stop the turnovers or shoulda had that one. Nutt was great when he can come in and win with someone elses talent, 08 and 98. But when it comes to running a successful program he just doesnt have it, IMO.

It's only like 3-4 million in January. It's not that much.

Nutt will be pitching himself to every open job in the country by that time.

If he loses to SIU or Vandy next weekend, I think he is gone.

We were all expecting to lose to BYU, so that wasn't much of a shocker. But blowing a 13-0 lead in the 4th is what has him in hot water right now. He cannot afford a slip up to SIU or Vandy. We have to be 2-1 when Georgia comes to town.

I think he meant realistic options, not fantasy football.

I agree. If he doesn't win both of these next 2 games then he will lose all of my support. He will have to win the west to get it back.

This is not a flame, but I'm serious, I do not understand why that program continually has to suck. State's had good years. They very likely will have a great year this year. You'd think at some point, the law of averages would allow Ole Miss to be more than just decent every now and then?

The only thing y'all do well is play football games above your head against LSU. And educate hot women. Y'all got those two down.

We have an administration that tries to hire the cheapest option at head coach. We could get Malzahn, Kirby Smart, or Gary Patterson if we REALLY REALLY wanted to. Our athletic department is just to cheap and dumb to do so.
