Damn. Takes me back in my earliest memories with #8 (God Bless him) until The Cajun Cannon came along when I was old enough to understand the game and we had hope.

You can also argue that Lane has been a major league disappointment af every major job he's taken aside from Ole Miss.
Maybe it's just me, but the fact he seems to care about social media as much as a high school cheerleader would make me worry. No doubt, an offensive genius. But will he miss some small details due to not being entirely focused on football. Whatever he is, he's not obsessed the way Saban was and Kirby is.

No one with a brain ever thought Kiffin was going to stop using the portal. It’s what he’s best at, recruiting wise.
The reason he left Ole Miss is the ability to do exactly what he did in just a few weeks at LSU. Sign a moderately sized High school recruiting class, and fill it with elite talent. Then attack the portal like he’s always done.
Signed the #12 overall high school class with only 15 players and has the #1 portal class so far.

LA Raiders- fired
Tennessee- 7-6 and ended on a downer
USC- fired and left on the tarmac (Arguably better situation than LSU. Recruiting still among top five, little competition)

Did he have a whole recruiting season? Are the players from old roster from under Kelly? LOL - some of you couldn’t add 2 + 2.
