If these are old and already know, why is OM not sure if they were doctored or not?

Nothing will happen to us. The NCAA already is aware of these measly messages. We are good.

You know that feeling you are feeling right now? That's called impending doom.

How is a guy who sat out half of last season for an NCAA violation admitting he got paid a big deal? Seems like they were already punished for this. Now find a text chain with the Nkemdiche brothers or Treadwell and then there's a real story.

Looking back, it makes sense why State and OM had no shot at Marcus Dupree. Bellard and Sloan were the head coaches at the time.

well, he was punished for things that had nothing to do with this so there's that

actually this is far far worse that the others could ever be since OM actually investigated him specifically and told the NCAA he was clean

Those violations did not involve payments by coaches, was boosters/agents. This new stuff involves a coach paying him.......which is FAR worse. But you knew that already, didn't you?

I was kinda surprised by how quiet it is over there. It has a calm before the storm feel to it.

When the nation's top HS RB picks USM ahead of the state's SEC programs, you know those programs have hit rock bottom.

I've been told that Dupree left his Camaro in Norman when he quit OU.

You're the same idiot who has been showing his arse in these threads over the last month, and now that it's obvious that OM is about to get pummeled you want everyone else to be civil

7 games is the penalty for a loaner car? Much more than that to warrant a 7 game - with approval by the NCAA.

Not sure what you're getting at. If he was getting paid by coaches and the assistant AD knew about it, there'd have been a much bigger penalty than 7 games.

The explanation will be that Barry talked to Tunsil about the student assistance fund and nothing else came from it, since there is no paperwork with him getting money from it.

And Miller's phone is long gone. He remembers the conversation though, and everyone is just taking it out of context. Asking for money from a coach isn't a violation, and Tunsil was then educated about the only ways they could help

Rebs are hoping that the NCAA hires Tunsil's lawyer. It's the only way out.

I was thinking this same thing. There is no proof he was actually given the money. The only thing I'm wondering about is his confession on live television. Will all of that be ignored by the NCAA?

If the NCAA comes in possession of the "hacked" phone all bets are off. Then we could be talking Albert Means sanctions.

Strong assumptions that there is incriminating evidence on that phone.

There could also be absolutely nothing on the phone and then nothing happens.....but I'm sure that sounds boring to you so yeah.
