Ole miss was going to pay him but he decided Starkville was better without the cash and hoes. Very fine upstanding choice by the young man. State would never pay a kid.

But if a kid demands money to go to school, that school says no & he ends up dropping them and going somewhere else--that seems a little fishy, does it not?

Did he demand money? To my knowledge, no.

Unfortunately the bigger issue is the fact these kids deserve pay and get it one way or the other.

That's all opinion and a different topic.

. Looks like state paid him to come there which is what any school does when they want an athlete.

That's you trying to rationalize not getting this athlete. Again, to my knowledge, nothing has been presented to even remotely suggest that LSU/MSU offered pay to play.

Keep in mind, this player can not be punished in any way.

Are you sure? Forensic tools are very much so available. Are you positive that deleting a message is enough? Hint??

As I stated a long time ago here, it's not. The investigation was over until other things were discovered. Feel free to look back over the posts.

They've been investigating for 4 year do you think they are just now thinking about burner phones?

Time isn't even considered.

No, what I know is that this investigation was coming to an end when a player slipped up. At that point, it was a major problem with what had already been discovered.

After that slip up, players were offered immunity to bring out the new things to end this. Lewis was a part of that deal.

Yes or no, did Mississippi State pay Leo Lewis for his signature?

And don't deflect, which I know you will.

Seems like just a burner phone being given by a coach would be a big deal, especially for a school that had been under NCAA investigation for 2 years at that point.

Before this OM investigation I've never heard of a burner phone being used in recruiting (it was early 2016 when I first heard of it). Maybe it is common in recruiting, but I don't think it has been part of any NCAA findings against other schools.

Not to mention that any new NCAA finding is on top of 8 Level I violations. The NCAA could take 30+ scholarships and a 3 year bowl ban just for those 8 if they wanted to.

OP - as citizens of the United States, we all have a right to a burner phone.

1- That has nothing to do with the investigation into Ole Miss.

2- Nothing has been presented at this time.

Didn't say it did. I'm asking you a question, pussy.

Yet... but that's beside the point.

I asked you a question and you deflected just as I knew you would.

Pussy.

Not even prior to new revelations. With new revelations and the fact that it took a complete slip up by a player to gain new truths AFTER the investigation was coming to an end, it's going to be heavy.

Didn't Leo go to LSU the weekend before signing day? Wonder if he took cash from LSU and backed out and got another pay day on signing day....
