Chin up Missies...we lost to La-Monroe not too long ago. Nutt has got you all on the fast track to greatness.

Of course, y'all probably should've spent a little less time worrying about Masoli's eligibility and a little more time game-planning for the pseudo-Cocks.

Somewhere in NE Alabama, CC is giddy and looking for a tree to roll.

Sucks...but losses happen I guess. Defense needs to step it up. I'm sure film tomorrow will not be pretty. Just got to bounce back. But congrats on Jacksonville St. on the victory. They did what they had to do.

Two chinstrap league, their guys were really bouncing around out there. These wins are precious, hard, precious, when you get them.

They wanted it more and we seemed to not care after halftime. I give that to Jacksonville St. I feel like our coaches called it off way too early. Was it because their head coach is friends with Nutt? Who knows. But I think we should have stuck with the same gameplan as we had from the first half. After hearing that the first half was pretty good....they should have stuck with that same gameplan. But...oh well. Life goes on. We live to play another weekend. Season is young.

Have any players been quoted as being "glad they lost" after the loss to the Gamecocks this year?

Back to same Ole Miss we are used to. Shitty team, inexcusable loss, and the fans act like it is no big deal...just hoping for a bowl game.

You're right. It's inexcusable. I'm not making an excuse. And I'm not acting like it's not a big deal. It sucks big time. And I hate it. But it's over and there isn't nothing I, as a fan, can do about it. I'm not going to give up after one game. I usually get over losses quickly with that attitude. I guess I'm weird.

Could you compare the loss to national travesties for my own personal enjoyment?

hmmm....let's see. If I would have been there...I would compare it to the day I was diagnosed with diabetes. Boy was that shitty day.

Since I wasn't there and didn't see the game....being in the emergency room due to my diabetes....how ironic... I would compare it to well nothing.....National Travesties are far worse. Those are harder to recover from in my opinion.

I'd be willing to bet that Hootie says something like, "you can't do this" and "you can't do that and win a ballgame". He'll perhaps even blame some players and/or coaches. But I will be very surprised if he takes responsibility for the loss. Typical Hootie all the way......when something is really working, throw 'em a curve and do the opposite.
