This is an interesting article about opening up for players on June 1,2020. Missouri AD Jim Sterk said this in the article.

I read in the article that Riley said “I definitely think we’ll play,”

He just thinks June 1 is too early. I don't know if he's right but he also said “We’ve got to be patient. We’ll get one good shot at it” and that's a good point. Err on the side of caution, so basically, I agree with him.

If players are not at school asap then you got a problem being ready to get the players in shape and be ready for football in the fall.

There's a pretty good bit of time left. Camps don't usually start till August right?

Missed spring ball! Need to get the players in so they can get ready for other things that is not done from away from school. Missouri have a new HC and he wants his players in school and on the field as soon as possible so that he can evaluate and get started before the players failed to make the proper adjustment needed to be ready for football games in the fall.

considering the horrible pre-season injury luck of the last few years, Alabama may be better off with less practice (for every team) than with more.

Course, we got new S&C coaches. I know UGA fans like to think that hiring Cochran away from Alabama was a huge deal, but a lot of UA fans, myself included, had begun to wonder if our S&C program wasn't due in part for some of the injuries.
