Our abortion of a spread offense with peewee players all over the field put up 31 on then. I think ya'll have a better shot than anyone so far - including Georgia.

ZACTLY!

These fools keep talking about Ole Miss........like Ole Miss wasn't the bane of Bama's existence in the SEC at their fraudulent peak. And Ole Miss didn't have any sort of running game. That was a pop gun offense.

Bama turned the ball over 5 times Vs Ole Miss and had a batted pass bounce off a helmet.

If you win the turnover battle 5 to 0 you should win easily.

Bama had 5 turnovers vs OU in the sugar bowl as well. Neither team was able to really pull away and Bama had a chance to tie the game late in the 4th qtr.

If you are counting on 5 turnovers then you have already lost.

We lost to Ole Miss 2 times. The 1st was an old school SEC slugfest that they won 23-17. Thet beat us because they had a great defense, not because of offense.

The 2nd game was wild and crazy and they won the TO margin 5-0. If you win the TO margin 5-0 you too will beat us.

Turnovers count, whether you like it or not. Pretty sure we had something to do with all of their turnovers. They were all forced.

So you are counting on that defense to force 5 turnovers

Of course they count. Like we said, if we lose the TO margin 5-0 I almost guarantee OU is gonna win.

No. We had six sacks as well. I'm pointing out what happens when Bama is forced into errors, and you were.

5 errors to 0 we lose. We're really good but we're not good enough to overcome that.

Good gosh that 2013 team was a paper tiger. Between our defense and O-line it's incredible we got to Auburn at 11-0.

That 2013 team were two time national champions and a kick 6 away from being a 3-peat. Don't tell me that. And we had errors of our own, just not as many.

OU is -2 on turnovers this year and Bama is +8. So you're fricked if you are counting on turnovers..

He doesn't understand that was an offensive Bama team with the least talent Bama has had on Defense. It also had a weak O-line. It was a senior QB and some skill players.

It was one of Saban's best coaching jobs up until the Auburn kick 6.

Since 2015 though Bama has been a different animal talent wise especially defensively. The 2017 recruiting class added ridiculous offensive personnel.

We were a kick-6 away from probably/maybe beating Missouri and then definitely losing to FSU.

That was the worst post-2007 defense of the Saban era, especially in the secondary and pass rush. Our offensive line was incredibly hit or miss. Our skill guys were great, especially Coop/AJ/Yeldon/Henry when he played.

Oklahoma kicked our arse, but that team showed cracks all season. From the VT offensive disaster to the 600+ yards to Manziel to being totally dominated up front against Auburn. We ended up only playing a couple top 25 teams as the schedule collapsed. It just wasn't a championship caliber team.

So Bama would've won the Natty but lost to a worse team in the Sugar?

It's almost like you're saying the Sugar was a fluke

Dont worry, we heard the same thing when we played them with Bradford in the NCG.. Gator D shut em down.

And you don't understand that we had nowhere near what they had on either side of the ball or in any phase of the game

Nobody disagrees with that. That was not a great Oklahoma team.

Yeah I think Bama probably handles FSU in the title game. You don't?

Hell no. That FSU team was nasty. They would have dominated our OL and moved the ball at will. Auburn matched up with them much better than we did up front and FSU still got them.
