This game isn't even going to be close.

Let's look at the facts.

Oklahoma has the best scoring offense in the country averaging 49.5 points per game.
Their offense is getting a lot of attention but is it that good?

Second best offense in the country? Alabama with 47.9.
So 1.6 points per game is that huge of a difference?

Biggest difference is Oklahoma HAD to score that many points to win their games. Alabama was on cruise control in every game in the 4th quarter but the SEC title.

On the other side of the ball. Alabama has the 4th best scoring defense allowing only 14.8 ppg. Oklahoma is 98th allowing 32.8.
18 point difference.

Turnover Margin
Alabama +8
Oklahoma -2

Yall it's fun to troll and talk about this game for the next 3 weeks but it's not going to be close.
Bama is winning this easily. Only way they dont win this by 20 points is because Saban pulls the starters at the end of the 3rd to save them for the title game.

TL:DR
Bama Stacked. Oklahoma fricked.

The facts are......Alabama hasn't fared any better against elite spread offenses than Oklahoma has in victory OR defeat. They've been torched repeatedly. THAT....is a fact.

And your comparing ppg.... which we are not the best ever in..... we are however the best ever in yards per play..... compare those stats and you will see a closer game.

I've been here the entire time. I'm not confused. You are. What elite spread offense has Saban ever shut down? I'll wait....

False. Alabama hasn't been touched in 4 years man. Alabama had mediocre defenses in 2013 and 2014. Outside of that they have never been torched by anybody.

Pretty much this. Alabama’s defense hasn’t been great against really good offenses for awhile now. Oklahoma is going to score a lot of points, so is Alabama. The difference will be which defense can force turnovers and field goals.

Bama has been torched in every game they've played against an elite spread offense. They've given up shite tons of yards and points. Go sell crazy somewhere else.

Ole Miss scored 7 points on Alabama and lost 62-7.

The same Ole Miss that beat Texas Tech. Texas Tech almost beat Mobilehoma. Scoring 50+ points on your shite defense

Who the frick cares? You dont win games by getting the most yards. You win by putting up points and you're less than a safety better at that.

It’s posts like this one that screams to me in my head that our Bama fan base is begging to be humbled. I’m weary of our spoiled fans not giving a blue blood program like Oklahoma any respect. If this game turns into a shootout, Bama could drop this one. Better hope we do like UGA last year and average double digits rushing yards per carry and control TOP.

The facts are

Oklahoma's total defense is ranked 108. The only reason it isn't worse is because of their 57th ranked rush defense, which is inflated because they faced the following rushing offenses:

47 - Oklahoma State
53 - Kansas State
75 - West Virginia
79 - Baylor
80 - Kansas: Gave up 348 yards on the ground
89 - UCLA
92 - t.u.
95 - TCU
108 - Texas Tech
113 - Iowa State

The #2 Rush offense in the country put up 339 yards on the ground against Oklahoma.

That OU defense isn’t devoid of talent. They recruit very well in Norman and that Sooner defense has a month to get their act together.
