Serious question.

Texas, your opinions don't matter because you've only faced one real SEC test and you failed miserably.

OU fans already said if they had a big12 offense they'd easily be undefeated.

Their dominant offenses in the past didn't do too much against high level SEC opposition whenever they crossed paths.

Iowa State would grind half this conference into dust, Mizzou included but especially OU.

Iowa State???

Bahahahahhaha.

You haven't even played anyone yet besides a UGA team that's not nearly as dominant in all three phases as its usual self.

2022 UGA would have hung 50 to 60 on you.

They would do better if they could have a bye week between each game. They blew their load against Tennessee and didn’t realize there was 7 games left

The locker room began to quit on Venerables after that game.

That's a beard location. Nobody stans for the Cinci-freaking-nnati Reds and claims to be a red-blooded southern male.

But you are a basketball school who every 20 years will cosplay as a football school, so why waste breath talking to you. You'd be fighting with Kansas for worst all time record in the Big 12.

I really do think their mentality going into that game was it was the game of the year. Tennessee is good but they emotionally sold out for it. They briefly got off the ground against Texas and that’s it. They won’t go bowling.

I suspect Oklahoma would be 4-3 / 1-3 in the B12 this season too with the WR room wiped out and the putrid OL -

though the Sooner defense might could actually beat OSU Baylor & Kansas all by itself -

Bent V is not the HC to get OU playing in the top 4 of the SEC yearly -

Is it normal for my finger to go straight to the down vote whenever I see a longhorn posting anything?

Honestly, its too early to tell. We have no offense and haven’t all season. There is no way to know yet.

I have said many times the schedule will be harder. Teams always adjust to how their conference plays which we did in B12. Teams playing same teams each year get to know opponents which means they find weaknesses.

But without a viable offense we are a sitting duck. The injuries hurt bigtime however our ex-OC could have schemed better as well and not embarrassed us. I don’t know the interim OC will be much better. So we’re looking at an off season fix.

And even with a harder schedule - SEC is the best conf - anyone pumping our losses were solely SEC driven are highly mistaken. We would not have a better record in B12 either.

My hope is we run the ball a majority of game. At worst you go 3 and out. But our punter is great and can pin them deep to get ball back. And this will give our qb some easy snaps to get into game flow. And if lucky we find some holes and that can set up an occasional pass.

Our oline is bad but not as bad as shown. The fired OC had a pass happy plan with young QBs. And he had RPO. RPO means QB has to make quick decisions but it also means the oline has no idea if they are run blocking or pass blocking since they look forward not behind.

If you only run then your line can prepare for just moving a body. If you only pass you are not making a hole rather you are blocking an imaginary circle where the qb would be. RPO confuses things when we have too many injured players and young qbs.

We are likely staring at no bowl game. But our defense is doing well and I can imagine if they had any offense they could turn it up a notch or two. That gives me hope for next year if we make a good OC hire.

I see so many posts here about SEC schedule but most are exaggerating things. It is harder and most OU fans know this. But we also faced the hardest schedule if any SEC team in history based on how they did schedule. And a few others got the short straw too. But if we had just an average offense we’d make top half of conference.

The SEC did not cause our offensive problems, a string if events did. So for now its hard to say and we’re just hoping to steal a game to get bowl eligible.

Nuh uh. They came within 4 scores of beating us in the 2013 Cotton Bowl.

Oh it's definitely a tougher row in the SEC.

Even though the OU offense is historically bad which makes it hard to give a comparison at this point, it's easy to see the talent difference.

Although this season turned into a fiasco, I'm still loving the fact we are in the SEC. It forces us to improve. And no SEC conf. game is a snoozefest, whereas we'd lull ourselves to sleep in the B12 going to armpits like Manhattan, KS or Lubbock and drop games we shouldn't.

Kentucky would have the 3rd largest stadium in the Big 12, once again, you stupid frick.

Since we play in a REAL conference, and have all these years, we are merely 14th because the passion and tradition in this conference, which your ungrateful arse should get down on your knees for and thank us for letting you in, is the absolute best.

Run back to the Big 12 bitch. Kentucky ain't scared of you phags.
