Anybody really believe Oklahomans cross the state border with AR and spend their time berating locals and telling them how much everything sucks there? Seems like made up nonsense to me.
Yes, Arkyologist makes me laugh. Like anybody in Oklahoma besides the border counties goes to Ft. Smith for anything. Sounds like he's had a tough time with the rednecks from where? Pocola? Poteau? Roland? Sallisaw? The combined number of Oklahomans who have remotely anything to do with Ft. Smith or NW Arkansas is probably less than 50K. In a state of 4 million.
But he is right. That bunch has no reason to make fun of Arkies. If the country they lived in wasn't really pretty (like western Arkansas is) the rest of Oklahoma would just as soon give those folks to Arkansas.
Fact of the matter is that Oklahoma people really don't give Arkansas much thought. Most Oklahoma people think NW Arkansas is really nice.
As you can tell, it is Arkies who are ate up with OU. Not sure why? I guess those eastern Oklahoma rednecks have really impacted them.
And if this dude had lived in Texarkana instead of Ft. Smith... he'd be singing a way different tune about Texas fans.

NW Arkansas is really beautiful. I used to make trips down there on golf weekends. Never had anything but good experiences there.
Not once did me or any of my buddies berate any locals or talk shite about the state to anybody. There was a reason we made the drive there to play golf after all, and it wasn't because we thought their state was trash.
And never on any road trip down there did I witness hunter/killer teams of Okie rednecks patrolling OK highways, pulling over out of staters, beating the shite out of them, and shooting them in the face.

They don't strut around here acting like they are now God's gift to the SEC. They talk about their team, and hope for success.
Wait until you hear them yelling boomer sooner in your face. You might change your mind.

Lol...I can't attest to what they do out there in Le Flore County and such, but I've been told, and seen for myself, that Oklahoma's home crowd is way too tame for the SEC. Arky fans can't seriously be saying OU fans are a threat to public safety after they've gone to Baton Rouge and College Station all these years.

The Arky dude is merely projecting his own actions as those of Okies. He gives himself away repeatedly throughout his prattling nonsense of a post.

Got news for you, Arky has only played A&M once at College Station since A&M joined the SEC.
The only place I have been that I would even consider even remotely hostile is Death Valley and it was not that bad, it was just not very welcoming.
