Wrong, the applies to all schools. Texas has to give up 2000 lower bowl tickets. Now the remainder can be in the upper decks

Home student sections cannot be on the visitor side. Thats what their rules state. Basically they don’t want home students harassing away teams by being behind their bench.
The entire student body at A&M sites on one side of the stadium behind the opponents bench.
The rule states the 20 or 25 closest rows to the visitors inside the 25 yd lines cannot be students.

UGA, LSU, Bama, Fla, Tenn, Auburn normally have 15-20,000 fans that travel with the team.
One of these does not travel like the others.

The conference requires 2,000 visiting team seats inside the lower bowl, the Big 12 didn't require any visitor seating in the lower bowl.
I wish the SEC would increase this to 5,000. The stadium atmospheres in the ‘80s and ‘90s used to be so much more intense when the visiting crowd was able to really make some noise.
Starting in the early to mid 2000s, schools started pushing more and more visitors to the nosebleeds.
