I'd take Pel. He knows the SEC and can recruit.

So what came of Stansbury meeting with the AD or was that just a joke?
Posted on 2/15/12 at 4:06 pm to Al Bundy Bulldog
We lost a scholly because of Pel. Our APR was shite. And Anderson is suffering because of it.

You would really want to hire a guy that couldn't hack it at Arkansas?

What's so terribly wrong with Stansbury?
Did the OT loss to LSU really sting that bad?
Your team was ranked at the beginning of the week. How high are expectations at State anyway?
I mean, for crying...ahem...cowbell ringing out loud!

Joke. Fidel was just talking out of frustration.
There won't be a meeting until the end of the season.

True. I'm not a State fan.
Speaking of understanding, do you understand what a show-cause penalty is now?

Word.
And Brady even looks like he'd fit in really well in StarkVegas.
He's a Mississippi native, played for Belhaven, got his master's at State and was an assistant at State from '82 to '90.

he would be smashing pussy left and right in starkvegas

He's been a coach here for 14 years and hasn't made a sweet 16. Don't you think we should try something else? We had a huge timeout last night in overtime and he didn't even say a word to the team. That's how much he does. He doesn't have their respect anyway, so when he does tell them something, they don't listen. They don't listen because he's an idiot.

No but the back to back losses to lsu and georgia(vastly inferior teams) did.

This team should be in the top 15 all year imo.

Pel's players kept their fist fights in the locker room, even the assistants kept their fist fights in the locker room.
Stans' players fist fight in the stands while on TV.
I'm going to have to go with Pel on this one.
Good news Bundy, you guys can hire him cheap.

This is something they practice. He calls time out with so many minutes or seconds left to explain what play they will run. They practice this enough so when they go back in they run a set play. If you really watch State after a time out, they usually run a set play and score.......all coaches do this in practice........

How about Robert Kirby? Don't understand why anyone hasn't given this guy a shot yet.I have heard he is a very good recruiter and we were consistently in the top 3 in the league in defense and rebounding up until he left for Georgetown.

Robert Kirby wasn't hired by LA-Monroe. That's all I need to know.

1. Losing to LSU in football-expected
2. Losing to LSU in basketball-embarrasing and unacceptable
3. Losing to a 2-7 UGA team, even more embarrasing and unacceptable.
And I can't believe no one bit on the "Hire Hugh Freeze" comment I made earlier. Opportunity lost
