Never see Georgia fans on this board get so mad except when talking about Tech.

I've got to say, I liked that speech. It was pretty hilarious. You can hate on them for being nerds if you want, but they are and always will be smarter than you.
Also, at the end, did anyone notice how many "white" kids the were in ther crowd? Like 2. The rest were all Indian or Asian.

Btw, I think this rivalry is one of the more underrated in the country as far as hatred is concerned. Go to a UGA/gt game in Atlanta one time and you'll see why they're our #1 rival, and always will be.
I live in Georgia, and have for 25 years. It's not that big of a deal. At least from an outward appearance. As far as a rivalry goes, you wouldn't know the two schools were in the same state with the exception of one week a year. Hear much more talk about the UGA/UF rivalry than UGA/GT.

Who said anything about recently? I'm not trying to be unreasonable here. Let's make the cutoff a nice round number like 23 years. I think we can all agree that those teams who haven't won a national championship in the last 23 years kind of suck. Fair?

It's mainly their fans...most of which never went to Tech. They are very rabid, which is good. But they can be totally oblivious about how good...or bad their team is.

Hey...no offense meant. It just rubbed me the wrong way for you to say we would be working for a Ga Tech graduate. I'm sure they are out there...but most Engineers work for other people.

Actually i have several fans that are Ga. Tech fans.....and I normally hope they lose, but I am just as happy if they win. (Except if they beat Georgia) If Georgia Tech beat us more often I might be more vocal...but they just can't seem to get over the hump, right now. They should be pretty decent this year, though. If they had a mediocre defense nobody would beat them. I was cheering loudly for them against USC in their bowl game last year! I was right proud of them!
