Actually this brings up another excellent point about how bullshite this thread is
Did you take into account all of the wins and losses the teams LSU have played this year will gain from the bowl games?
No, you didnt. Dumbass

ranked at the time doesn't matter, only the end results. That's why I listed SC in the second category for Bama and separated those that finished ranked.
Note the space between the "current" and "ranked at the time".
And yea, MSU and UF are 6-6 right now. I predicted through the end of the season. I figured it was taking less liberty than the OP.

because yall have hung your hats on that for Lsu's wins all season. Just giving yall some perspective on what Bama did in 2009, because the way some have acted, this is the first and last year of college football ever, since Lsu has run the table to date. Like it hasn't been done before.

at this point in this season, 2009 Bama would look like this
quote:
12-1 Florida #1 when played #3 after Bowl game
9-3 Va Tech #7 when played #13 after Bowl game
9-3 Lsu #9 when played #17 after Bowl game
8-4 Ole Miss #20 when played #20 after Bowl game
Combined records of 38-11 - 77% winning percentage
Then played an additional 4 teams with winning records.
Arky 7-5
Kentucky 7-5
Tenn 7=5
Auburn 7-5

That's not true at all.
Literally no media outlet lists it that way. Ever.

Exactly. What happens if all of our current teams win their bowl games, how does that affect our winning percentage and rankings of team played Gump?

Do Bama fans even consider 09 Bama the greatest team of all time? I don't think so.

what if they all lose?
I didn't make up wins or losses. I just listed what has been played to date.

So are you just avoiding it, or do you really not know what it is?

No offense, I believe you'r a decent poster, but this thread is trying too hard and is incomplete/shaded/infactual in too many ways to point them all out.

You realize, that's still more teams with winning records and more teams in the top 20. Right?

Scraped by 12-10 at home to unranked Tennessee team
Scraped by 26-21 to unranked Auburn team
That's the difference. LSU has dominated every game except Alabama...and we get to play you again
Wouldn't 9-6 be considered scraping by?

:raises hand: so all of you who think(and are going along with) this is the best team of all time... does that mean if we win we are the best team of all time???
Ya know, considering we would have won a NC against what was considered the best team of all time.
My thoughts are don't give awards too early.

Yes but you included the END OF THE SEASON results for Bama's record in 2009 when doing your win/loss percentage correct?
A 6-6 South Carolina team before the bowl game is exactly the same as a 6-6 Florida team for us this year
Your "facts" and "stats" are skewed and bull shite

I'll argue my point to favor my post, thank you very much.

#2 on the road >>>>>>>>>>>>> unranked at home wouldn't you agree?

Yu would be close, but unfortunately u would still have a worse record than LSU, even with a win jan9th....and against a weaker schedule to boot

6 ranked teams vs. 4. Are you hanging your hat on some 7-5 teams?
