ranked at the time doesn't matter, only the end results. That's why I listed SC in the second category for Bama and separated those that finished ranked. At this point in the season, Bama had played more in the top 20 than Lsu has as of today. Maybe it changes if WV or Au wins and moves up, or maybe Lsu has even less in the top 25 if they lose.

If ranked at time played doesn't matter, why did you list it under Bama's slate ?
