I would agree that 09 bama is better than 11 Bama
But should LSU win, they are the best teammsince 2001 Miami and this is a team chocked full of underclassmen...they're going to be better next year

So sad that you're stuck in the past! In case you haven't heard, the "Bear" is gone! For the present, LSU reigns!

LSU is the 2011 Champ.
The best Bama can hope for is a split ...but LSU is now playing for the G.O.A.T. tag.
We have beat every team we will have played, already have 13 wins which is 2 more than any other team...oh....we have a Division and Conference Championship as icing on the King Cake!!

Best of all time for LSU is a very valid argument, but best of all-time is a little silly. There have been some great teams in the past and I mean truly great. Jimmy Johnson's Canes come to mind, basically a NFL pro bowl team, along with USC and BAMA themselves. I'll say this is the best in a while though, people have short memories when it comes to the past.

I just know that this is a very, very, very good team.
History will rank the team. This to me is, however, the most fun team to watch and follow that I have ever seen.
People outside of the LSU program just do not understand how Saban sucked the joy out of the football program. The 'process' is now a very trite and overused cliche.
I hope when Saban leaves for $$$$$$$greener$$$$$$ pastures Bama gets a coach that can win and bring joy to their program.

not to mention that this team hasn't gone undefeated yet. they have one more large obstacle in the way.

As per LSUSports.net:
Of LSU's 13 wins this year, eight have come against ranked opponents and seven of those eight have been double-digit wins. The 2011 team has ten 20-point wins this season, is the only unbeaten team in the FBS and the defense has allowed an average of only 10.5 points per game (second fewest in FBS).
On Monday, Jan. 9, LSU will bring the nation's longest winning streak - 14 straight - into the Allstate National BCS Championship game versus No. 2 Alabama. Should they win, LSU will be the first team to beat nine Associated Press top 25 teams in one season.

Bama didnt win a game in OT in 09 nor did they win a game without scoring a T.D.
so what? ahhh so us beating you was no big deal after all right? pathetic. you are actually selling your team out on their very good performance against us and you are too damn dense to comprehend it.

did you destroy the amount of teams we did? NO. not in 2009.

Did not read all of the preceding pages..
Did anybody mention that we beat the greatest team of all time on 11/5/11 so by default we are currently the greatest team of all time
Since some Bama fans counter that they beat themselves that night, we may have to live with the fact that we may beat the team that beat the greatest team of all time in the national championship game in NOLA. That would still make LSU the GOAT...
Does that about cover it Bama fan?

These kind of threads are why Alabama fans have the kind of reputation they have. Namely poor sports, win or lose. Just can't give credit where credit is due. Try manipulating the facts, more, why don't you?
In a few weeks, Tide 'fans' going to learn more about karma than they ever wanted to. Like what a b*tch she can be.
