They won the Natty last year because they were a very good team and caught some breaks.
Be honest...if Williams and Metchie play in the National Title game how many of you REALLY think UGA wins? Not me. They didn't come close to covering those guys and Williams alone was hurting them til he went down. Plus Bama's starting corners went out too.
Ohio State has very good receivers and a QB that can get it to them. Not something Georgia handles all that well.

Well its like this. The best team UGA ever put on the field according to them at the time, the unbeatable defense best ever in college football a big chunk that's in the NFL today...the team NOBODY could come close to...got smoked .
You can talk trash all you want but we know what happened when those young men played. UGA was overmatched.

It’s in the books. We won, we are also back in the playoffs. Bama should be worried about the declining coaching and culture issues they have.

We changed coverage schemes in the seccg trying to keep Bama off balance. Changing tendencies.
We go back to what worked in the regular season and Bama couldn't find the endzone (like all other teams in 2021). Congrats on learning something today.

The fact that they don't address the real issues is why 2022 was worse than 2021. 2021 was supposed to be the rebuilding year according to Saban. Lol

Bama fans are funny.
They're still making injury excuses for their loss in the NC game, but they aren't even making the right ones.
The reason UGA won the second matchup was not about Bama's offense... it was about Bama's defense. In the first game they forced two key interceptions that erased 3-7 UGA points and put 7 Bama points on the board. Even with Bama's offense scoring on UGA... those defensive plays are what turned it into a blowout. Bama was only up 24-17 at the half.
Bama didn't make those plays in the rematch. Their only turnover was a gift from the refs on a fumble that should have been called an incomplete pass (like they did with a similar Bryce Young fumble/incomplete pass earlier in the game). Bama's defense failing is why they lost in the NCG.
If they wanted to make injury excuses, they could have talked about their DB's. But they keep going on about the WR's even though they weren't the reason for the differences in the two games.

The DB's going down did not help and I did mention this, but we had balls dropped by backups that likely are not if its Williams or Metchie, drops that really mattered.
With them in the game we are a viable offense that can score points, without them..not so much.
