I'm old enough to remember when, at the end of nearly every season, people would claim that FSU was the best team in the country at that time. The problem is that they would have lost two or so games that they should have easily won during the year. Like OSU this year, the losses kept FSU out of the national championship hunt--even though they were maybe one of the best teams.
Consistency is part of the equation. Ohio State may be playing well now, but they lost badly to Iowa and Oklahoma. Wisconsin beat a mediocre Miami team. They are not a party in the argument.

Disagree.
I think Ohio St may be, but not Wisconsin.

B1G hasn’t scored a point in last two semifinals. Cases closed.

Do you think those teams are better than Clemson? Just wondering..

And Syracuse is better than Clempsum

Bama would bitch slap both teams.

Wisconsin is not strictly by personnel. Now, Ohio State and Penn State are every bit as good as UGA and Auburn if not better and clearly better than this Bama team IMO. Yes Bama can still win it all. My personal complaint with the SEC when comparing them to the BIG is, schematically, the SEC is in the stone ages compared to the BIG. Offensively, the SEC can't throw the ball over the middle of the field or find a freaking tight end to save their lives. Defensively, the SEC is very vanilla and sticks largely to a base defense almost always. UGA and Bama have some complex blitz packages but that's about it from any schematic creativity on that side of the ball in our conference. Look at Aranda, he came to LSU and said he had to drop half his defense because he wanted to simplify things which means my players are too dumb to run my entire defense. And it's like that conference wide. It's the price you pay for the type of recruiting we do in the SEC.

Is it last year again already?

Zzzzzzz...who put on that record again. Funny comment coming from a Gump whose team lost to Ole Miss two consecutive years.

I love this statement, as if your dislike for the team gives more weight to your incorrect analysis.

My incorrect analysis? Your teams record against the SEC isnt exactly stellar. If you think Ohio State could beat Alabama you are kidding yourself.

Ohio State is 23-13-3 against SEC teams.

Yeah, no way that would ever happen.

Will never understand why ACC fans feel the need to come here and smack talk. Its some sort of creepy obsession

Not in bowl games. But, honestly, I should expect an Ohio State fan to believe this. Your fans always think your teams are invincible when you dont have to actually prove it. You guys are undefeated in hypothetical games. Oh, btw, I think Iowa just scored again.
