Why do you all ignore Burrow's 2018 season?
He was average to below average.
Tebow was never average, never.
And you all know it.

He never had to transfer to get on the field, though.

All these “one season wonder” idiots- tell me, what is the correct sample size for you? The mother fricker won every game, handily and against the hardest accumulative schedule ever seen in college football. Is 15 games not enough?!?! This isn’t a team thing- keep that in mind. Look at his stats and all the records he broke including a bunch held by Tebow.

Because a college career is typically 3 to 4 season of playing football.
Burrow was great for 1 season. That's it. He sucked in 2018.
Tebow was great for 3 seasons. And never had a entire season of mediocrity like Burrow did in 2018.

I think the most interesting way to frame it is: Who would you rather have starting a must-win game? Peak Tebow or peak burrow?

Fair question, I had the same thought with Cam. And, frankly I'd go Cam and hope he doesn't need to jump on a fumble.

Lots of variables aside from talent and intangibles.

Nothing metric to metric is going to be conclusive, so its subjective as you put it. I think the supporting cast, scheme, matchups and what you most need from the QB in that can't lose game scenario all come into account.

So it is gut feel and valuation of the legacy they left.

I'm bias as the Tebow years coincide with the reemergence of great Tide football. His play in those years, his steady leadership and performance, and my own inability to seperate his heart, effort, and determination from the evaluation, simply leads me to believe Tebow had a greater impact on all of CFB than Burrow did.

Not taking anything away from LSU and the historic season Burrow had that will always be a part of SEC and CFB lore.

I love my wife. I love chips and queso.

Same word, very different meaning.

4000 yards =|= 6000 yards. Not even the same stratosphere.

Baw, that proves the point. He was a fullback he could throw the ball.

Army tide said it well.

Is 13 touchdowns comparable to 57?

It also proves that Burrow was a bench warmer who transferred, and had 1 great season. Thanks to Joe Brady.

Cool! Now do the passing stats. You know, the thing quarterbacks are actually needed for.
