Looks like Burrow is going to win this by the largest margin as well - voted on by all of the fans of the SECr.

INCREDIBLE support for Burrow on this SEC website!

If Burrow was so great, why did he look so terribly average in 2018?

As I said on page 8:

quote:

he was a late spring transfer, with no starting experience, playing with brand new WR’s and RB under a new OC with no offensive system.

And he came into the toughest division in CFB. He couldn’t have come into a worse situation.

quote:

Tebow was never had a terribly average season in college.

He was basically a FB in the wildcat his frosh season. He had a monster soph season accounting for 4000 yards but then regressed the next two years. If you look at other Urban Meyer QB’s like Alex Smith and JT Barrett, their stats look suspiciously similar to Tebow’s. No one at LSU or anywhere else has done what Burrow did (6000 yards), and only ones close came from G5 schools that were churning out huge passing numbers year after year.

If you like “body of work”, then go with the guy that put up similar numbers to other Meyer QBs.

You can keep waiting bitch.
You’re fricking irrelevant in football, sort of like Tex am, usc, ole miss and vandy.

Luckily for Joe Burrow and LSU he just could t hack it at Ohio state.

How many spots lower is Burrow in rushing tds and yards? I bet it's more than 2, more like 2,000

All that tells me is that tebow is a better fullback than burrow.

Tebow was just another Meyer QB, and he wasn’t even the best one. I’d take Haskins over him. If you consider Burrow a Meyer QB, then Tebow falls farther down the list, about even with J.T. Barrett.

But, this Burrow vs Tebow thing has more than a few LSU posters on their heels trying to defend him over Tebow.

I mean, I'd kinda lean towards Tebow on this myself, but you're blind if you don't see everyone here trying to diminish Burrow's success.

I think the most interesting way to frame it is: Who would you rather have starting a must-win game? Peak Tebow or peak burrow?

Who’s coaching? Urban Meyer? Tebow. Anyone else? Burrow.

Burrow's 2018 season is that of a below average qb. 16 passing tds. For an entire season. Pathetic.

And he still managed to come back and put together the best season by a QB that's ever been seen.

What he did in 2019 is worth any 2 of Tebow's seasons put together.

Rushing tds count as 6 points, the exact same as a passing td. You just want to ignore the rushing stats because they make Burrow look inferior. Which he is.

And Tebow never managed to score 65 total in a season like Burrow.

And you want to ignore Burrow's 2019 season because there's no collection of talent and coaching that could be made to drag Tebow into that kind of elite territory.

Tebow accounted for 41 more touchdowns than Burrow. That works out to 61.5 points a year.

Roughly 5 points a game more than burrow for a 4 year career.

No one is denying Burrow had a great year. I just look at the numbers and they are what they are.

Tebow had the better career. That is what we are voting on right?

Nobody is ignoring Burrow in 2019. He was elite. Tebow was elite for 3 seasons.
