I thought Mullen was such a hot commodity. Why?

Refs are not required to move. State receiver is dumb

Receiver dumb

Between them and Miss. State???

I think you know what I meant. They started playing a new QB who has 15 TDs and 0 picks in his 6 games this year. Their schedule was definitely weaker at the end of the year but the MAC isn't the worst conference in the world.

The difference between a well coached team and a poorly coached team is tremendous. You're seeing why State fans are so often critical of Mullen.

I'm critical of Mullen, too. Just have to be realistic and walk the line.

The guy has done a tremendous job at State. He got them to #1 in the fricking country. He's been the 2nd best coach in the SEC since he was hired.

So he does some things well, no question. However, the dude is a terrible in-game coach. Dreadful, IMO.

Is Merlins a Scientologist? If so, then things make so much more sense now.

Mississippi State already won their Superbowl when they beat Ole Miss. Winning this game would just be gravy.

State has the chance to score to close the half and get the ball to start the 2nd half. If they blow this to close out the 1st half then I think it's all over.
