Ridiculous take. Offensively, it would probably be an even split. Defensively, your entire defense couldn't start for ULM...

You can't name 4 Alabama players who would definitely start on the LSU offense.

RB - McClellan / Williams are both better
TE - Amari Niblack would be a great fit for your offense
OG - Tyler Booker
OT - J.C. Lathem
WR - Isaiah Bond / Jermaine Burton (depending on how many WRs are on the field... and Bond is a great slot guy)

Name 4 people on your defense that would even make Bama's 2nd string defense... I'll wait

Eh, we are underdogs. We are not supposed to win this. What excuse would we need?

If Bama takes the loss as the favored team, that is when excuses are needed.

Based on what exactly?

None of these guys would start at LSU.

Except for maybe a WR3 and possibly a OG.

I never said LSU has 4 people who would start for Alabama defensively, they likely don't.

I would imagine Harold Perkins and Mekhi Wingo would though, but that's why I said less than 4.

So there are maybe 2 players on each unit that would start on the other team.

What was your excuse for losing to us last year

Lsu scored more points. That was unfair.

Seriously though, I hate the refs excuse. Yes, they make bad calls on occasion at critical moments that can impact outcomes. But, rarely does the bad call truly represent what happened over the course of the games. Teams have opportunities throughout that they simply didn't capitalize on.

LSU vs Bama is full of examples and pics that fans post forever and argue about on both sides from key holds, to INTs called on a goal line or not called on a sideline, to not called blocks in the back that all had game implications. But, I still believe it all equals out more often than not over the course of a game.

Last year Bama vs UT was the first time I personally felt it was so one sided as to disrupt the entirety of an outcome. But, even then, Bama had chances and missed them, so it's just sour grapes on my part.

My Dad would argue 1983- Bama vs PSU - no catch in the endzone when the Bams WR had his left foot and entire right leg hit in bounds was a horrific call. "Allegedly" it ended up the ref had a connection to PSU and bias. It sucked, but there were likely other opportunities for Bama to control their outcome.

Long story long - no matter how it goes, it is moments like all of the above that only add fuel to the fires of rivalries and make CFB great.

I hope nothing but the worst for LSU Saturday and then just the opposite going forward. Gonna be a great game (at least I hope)

Man, let’s see if Bama wins the game before doing this.

It won’t be an excuse. It will be the truth referees.

You are clearly out of touch with CFB if you don't think those 2 All American OL-men would start...

Maybe the fact that they play in an admittedly worse offense, with 2 OL liabilities blocking for them, against defenses that stack the box because we don't have a prolific pass game to compliment the run game... and they are still productive.

I wouldn't take either of them over Diggs.

You should call all the NFL scouts and let them know
