People seem to forget about Prothro...it's hard to walk that line between wanting to finish hard and being conservative.

If Saban knows he has the defense to play that way then ok...but I don't think we do.

Fowler neefs to be our short yardage/goal line back, Yeldon our workhorse every down type back and Lacy our guy who gives those 2 a breather.

I think you're probably right

Sure you can run it up, but sure as you do somebody breaks a leg in the endzone and you're forever questioned for ruining a WR's career when the game was clearly in control, etc etc etc.

The man can't win.

Saban has learned from his mistake in 2002.

Suuure does look that way. Lacy needs to keep morale up and keep bustin' his butt though...I mean, he's a good back.

Bama closing it down with the heavy pass rush instead of offense. Would be nice to have done this with passing and play more conservatively on defense.

dude I agree with this so much, Yeldon should be the starter....but we gotta remember Lacy was hurt...how hurt is he???

Lacy seems hurt still but even if Lacy is full health Yeldon is clearly the best offensive weapon on this team. He is fast, agile, powerful, vision, everything. Lacy is more one dimensional.

We'll have to wait and see against a good defense.
