Excellent game Bama.......See you next year.

Every year this is the game I fear and look forward to the most. Fantastic game that met and surpassed the hype (as usual). Roll tide, thank god we escaped with the win.

Hell of a game Tigers. I hope this was our one game on a Championship run where we got scared. I'm ready to to go back to dominating. Roll Tide and VOTE ROMNEY so we can all be winners.

ETA: I'm out of Whiskey Sour.

And that's exactly what Miles does in games like these.

No argument there. The problem is when you risk it and the experiment fails.

All that said, IMO Miles is going nowhere. There's absolutely no justification for firing a coach who posts 10-13 win seasons almost annually.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I loved the way he called this game.

It's already been said, but look at all the gambles he made.

That ball bounces differently on the onside kick and we win.

Ware gets a little more push on that 4th down try and we win.

One guy misses an assignment on that fake field goal and we win (OK, that one wasn't close but you get the idea).

I'd rather lose like this than lose with him calling the game as if JJ/JL were still here.

You really don't know what you're talking about. The risk taking Les is what he is. When those risks win the game for LSU you all praise him. Yes sometimes those risks can cost you the game. Les Miles is a great coach and they are hard to come by.

He took risks? He clammed up on 3rd and 4th down and forced his kicker to kick a 46 yard FG (exceeding his career long) in a high-pressure situation.

LSU players sucked it up in the first half.. and Les Miles embarrassed himself and his team in the 2nd half.

I think the bottom line is that you'd rather lose like this than risk the program taking a general backslide.

Those calls did not blow this game. In fact it got your team in the frenzy mindset that they thrive on. That was just an all time Epic last clutch drive. Anyone that thinks AJ or Yeldon ain't all that......well they don't know football.

I have no problem with this call.

Why not let Mett take it from under center and hand it off? We didn't convert because Ware bobbled the snap.. something that non-QBs do quite often.

Horrible call.

When Lee and JJ were here at least we got beat by a better squad. Tonight, Les coached the better team to an L.

Bama beat them with playcalling on that last drive. The players executed, but they didn't do anything special. Thank the guy calling the plays there. That call on the screen was perfect.

That was when you quit on your team. Just own it and move on.

BMY you seem to be an intelligent poster. Where is the vitriol for JC copeland for that PF? That fricking play could have won us the game. Allemand Slipping on the first FG after the fake attempt. Lets not pile this all on Miles. This was one Hell of a fricking football game. Luck just wasn't on LSU side this night, ie. the onside kick, and the allemand slip. shite happens. LSU showed heart and the will to do whateer it takes to win the game. LS motherfricking U. GEAUXTIGERS I am proud of you.

Wanting him gone is sheer madness that I'm going to chalk up too emotion and alcohol.

It's like our fanbase wants us to be Tennessee or something.

References, or it didn't happen. And it didn't happen. I had my doubts and was surprised by the finish--as did 100% of of the people watching that game playing out.

And what is AU's record again? Wins over ULM and who?

There were just numerous absolutely stupid calls that had no business being called, with big ramifications.

The 4th and 12 pass to a kicker when Bama is clearly playing safe.

Trying to QB sneak with Ware when all 11 bama players are looking for it.

Not throwing on 3rd and 10 with Mett at the 25 when he was untouchable at that point with the way our line was playing, and he was absolutely torching that defense with the throw.

The biggest let down is going prevent at the end on a QB that couldn't hit a 2 yard pass accurately when a defender was near. Took all the pressure off his throws and resulted in the result of this game. It's sickening for the players.

Yeldon just wouldn't fricking go down all night . I think the bright lights of a night game in Tiger Stadium had AJ rattled from the get-go and it showed, making the prevent all the more mind boggling.

I agree with you. Picking out a few risky plays that didn't work completely effaces that Miles' aggressiveness may have been a major reason a lot of players played far and away their best games of the season tonight.

I'm proud of the athletes and I've been blasting Copeland for his idiotic play all season long.

I just haven't been this disgusted with Les Miles since the Ole Miss debacle (ironically, he got screwed by the refs at the end of that game..)
