If the next team Clemson plays holds them to under 300 yards, I will be pissed.

It looked like AU's OL was pretty young in the game. I knew about Dismukes (sp??) being suspended, but didn't realize the others were so young. Both your OTs were Fr., and you had 2 other So. starting.

Was this your normally projected OL, minus Dismukes??

I thought the defense played much better and was in much better position. The pass rush looked really good until Tahj broke free and our LB's couldn't tackle him. The Dline did their job.. The lb's just have to be behind them to clean up the mess. Our secondary looked improved imo. Tahj Boyd made some really good throws. We won't be playing a Heisman canidate every week

I think it's usually 2 fresman 1 Soph 1 redshirt FR and a junior?

I was pretty impressed with the Oline. Mason had 100 yards rushing and Omacc had 85ish. Clemson was stacking the box knowing we have no passing game and we were still opening holes and getting good yardage. Even in the sacks we gave up KF had plenty of time to throw the ball away or make a play. He held the ball way to long.

What game did you watch? Same shitty defense we've had the entire time Chizik has been here

Tahj Andre Ellington HOpkins and #80 with their OC. They won't score under 26 points many times this season. It really just boils down to the LB's not wrapping up and not containing Boyd when he left the pocket.

ETA: OUr defense played well enough to give us a chance to win. Our passing game just blows. You can't beat a high powered team like that by scoring 19 points.

Clemson/ Auburn has been the best games the weekend the game was played for he past three years. I know the USC fans will balk at this, bu Clemson would have have been a great fit for the sec, tv markets aside. Last nights game, as well as the previous 2, just had a Saturday night sec feel to it.

Clemson outgained Auburn 528 to 374. This was not one of those games where you play better but lose because of some unlucky play or something. Clemson was the better team from start to finish.

I have to agree. I am really concerned about the lack of development of the players from the Top 10 recruiting classes. If they were that talented, it's not being translated to the field. I do believe that the young OL played well. Grimes is developing his talent.
