Exactly what scares me about this interim. He doesn't leave his alma mater for one season. If he does well this year, he gets a big contract.
How will he not do well with the players and staff we already have? So, his contract is almost certain.

Look on the bright side, Arkansas fans. Saban only went 34-24 at Michigan State. If you look at Smith's track record, he's won everywhere else he's been. Maybe it was the Michigan State program that was the problem not John L. Smith. Michigan State's only gotten good under Dantonio in recent years because they've finally decided to commit to their football program by upgrading their football facilities to compete with the big boys.
