I'd think he would want Dorrell to work and build his staff up.

Yep, we sure as hell are. It's been a shitty week so it's exciting to think about.

Sorry, we all can't bring in Hugh Freeze.

Oh and yeah, I secretly told myself we somehow had a chance at a Gruden-esque hire because of Archie so I've got no room to talk.

Hell yes we are! We are winners! That is how winners talk!

If we wanted a wussy head coach, we would have hired Dr. Quinn or the Medicine Woman!

Anyone know if he's ever been to NWA? The Arkansas rep may hurt us in this case. Hopefully, JD can fill him in on the good parts of the state.

I don't know. He coached at SE Missouri state for a couple of years. I'm sure he would have passed thru

In 1988, it's changed drastically since then.

And where it could also all wrap up one day.

Keep your hands off Gruden for a few months boys.

He'd probably have a lot of the coeds on his staff. Maybe even a few of the older ladies as well.

I'm probably the only Arkansas fan that thinks that would be a bad hire.

I actually wouldn't mind Paul Haynes getting promoted, him promoting Johnson to DC, and bringing in another young good recruiter.

I know it won't happen but It wouldn't bother me if It did.

Yeah I would definitely prefer to stay in house. We have an offensive system know that works. Now lets get a stud recruiter on defense and go to work on that side of the ball.

The fact that he hasn't coached in college since '89 concerns me, but if he would keep this staff together and just be a CEO/game manager/recruiter for this season, I would be extremely happy with it.

That said, and despite my avi, Paul Petrino is still my #1 guy.
