Pitching depth seems to be the problem.

Yes. But even if they don’t, it won’t matter when you’re playing with house money

I think lineup construction and lineup decision making is a bigger issue. Some of the vets who have “waited their turn” have feasted on the sisters of the poor but there are some guys on the bench who seem to be more talented.

Also not a huge fan of hitting your best hitters 3rd-5th. Zero reason for Stephenson and Lipcius to be getting the biggest ABs in this game instead of Beck, Lipscomb and Gilbert.

There are a lot of quality arms. Sewell shite the bed tonight but the guy who is our Sunday starter when healthy absolutely dominated Texas for 5 innings tonight and then after Sewell they have been facing guys who are unlikely to see high leverage innings for us.

We’ll need a good start out of Hilliard and we can’t make errors. So very iffy.

Lipscomb has really hit into some tough luck tonight.

Is exit velo and xBA readily available anywhere for these games?

We’ve hit the ball well tonight. Texas has a great outfield. That’s baseball.

Difference is no LSU fans are coming on here predicting we beat their arse, because we are knowledgeable baseball fans. Y’all bring it on yourselves.

Maybe because the MLB parks all have the massive Hawkeye setups rather than trackman. You’d think they would be able to easily get the Hawkeye numbers that produce and publish exit velo, spin rate, launch angle, etc. instantaneously for all MLB games.

Not ideal to have to bring in our closer in this situation, but do what you have to do.

I had not heard that. Ty has looked good, but the water is a lot deeper tomorrow. Tough spot to put him in.

And LSU has 6 national championships since 1991 in baseball. We can talk shite as much as we want. Tennessee has zero in their existence.
