I think I have figured out why Auburn can stop Lattimore while other teams struggle with him. Our defensive line penetration is so poor, they all just linger in a group around the line and South Carolina likes to run him between the tackles. If Spurrier started running some pitch sweeps he would probably go for 80 a carry.
