Based on performance and productivity over multiple years in college (no 1 year wonders), with no weight given to where they ended up being drafted or how many Pro Bowls they made, I'd say the only near unanimous selections would be:

• Devonte Smith – wide receiver

• Brock Bowers – tight end

…The rest could be argued to oblivion.

Agree with you on Eric Berry. That one would be near unanimous. Brock Bowers is the greatest tight end in college football history. On pace to be the greatest tight end in history. Bowers had more receiving yards in three separate seasons than Witten had in his Tennessee career.

I can't find it anywhere on the internet for some reason, but I remember when the conference put out their All 75th Anniversary Team when the SEC turned 75. There was only a first team. One of the defensive ends was Reggie White, and the other was David Pollack.

Pollack doesn't get the credit he deserves because he's white, had his NFL career cut short and eventually turned into an ESPN TV clown. But Pollack was an all-time great.

Pollack had played with the best bend and the best power of any pass rusher I've ever seen in college football. Also had the quickest first step of any Georgia pass rusher I've ever seen. And above all else, he was a playmaker.
