Your OP is blank.

Very informative

I know we were +800 before the season began and think we are up to +500 now

Taking the top 6 for the same wager is borderline arbitrage

How is Oregon still +2000?

Also Texas Tech is about to get boat raced by Houston this weekend imo. Wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole

You gotta look at how Vegas operates. Preseason they were down around +750 to +900, so +2000 is a massive jump down. That drops their implied chances from like 11% down to under 5%.

The main reason they didn't drift even further out to like +5000 is because the 12-team playoff saved everyone. Back in the 4-team days, one loss in September meant you were basically cooked, but now a 10-2 Big Ten team is still making the field easily.

Vegas can't price a team with that much talent at huge longshot odds because if Dan Lanning cleans up the turnovers and they make the bracket, the books get wiped out. +2000 is basically them saying Oregon is still good enough to make the 12-team field, but now they gotta win four straight playoff games with zero bye week instead of coasting in as a top-4 seed.

Bottom line is Vegas is keeping the price short enough to cover their own asses while still slashing their real championship chances in half.

Solid explanation and makes sense. Thanks.

I just think Oregon is basically cooked this year and is no where close to being done losing. They have been bullied on both lines of scrimmage against both teams they played and imo they have failed to backfill hire both coordinators they lost properly.

You ain't lying, watching them get bullied up front by Boise and Ok State was wild. If you can't control the trenches and you're breaking in two new coordinators, the Big Ten is gonna frick you up. Anybody touching +2000 is just donating money at this point.
