No offer from SC.
Yes, Christian Miller had an offer. At DE. He preferred OLB and that's why he's at Bama. This was covered ad nauseum last year.

Just last year we went in to South Carolina and got a 5* linebacker from Spurrier's backyard. How much more money do you think it costed Alabama to recruit in South Carolina versus how much it costs South Carolina to recruit their state?
Wasn't there also a five star running back who wanted to go to South Carolina, but Steve Spurrier didn't show up to meet with him while he was on campus?
Miller's Dad and Chris Rumpf were very good friends. It was Rumpf's only recruiting victory over Spurrier per se ... and even then ....
Our coaches thought it better not having Miller's Dad meddling around here for obvious reasons. He can be a bit of an obnoxious know-it-all. For instance, he insisted his son be guaranteed a LB spot whereas we offered him as a DE.
The RB in question is Nick Chubb. Spilled milk, sour grapes fermented by the comments of an 18 yrs old who did not get the attention he thought he deserved from the HBC, ergo ... he never got to meet him. Thus his butthurt after signing day. I get it, I do. He'll never be able to tell his grandkids he met the HBC so his motivation has turned to that ugly old revenge thing.

You have no idea what you're talking about
USC has been working on facilities, and not just football, since Spurrier got here. One of the first things he did was get some paint on Williams-Brice.
In football alone we've redone the 2 major parking areas around the stadium, redone the locker and weight rooms at least once, added a new scoreboard that was badly needed, in the process of building a new indoor practice facility and practice fields, and will start the process of improving the area immediately around the stadium next year.
Lack of luxury seating has been brought up as an issue before, but isn't a priority right now because it would likely involve a stadium expansion which isn't something the president wants to do after spending all the money we already have. And I think what we have/are doing is more important than adding luxury suites

It seems like he talks about us almost as much as he does South Carolina.
In his last 100 hundred football related interviews he has mentioned his South Carolina squad 100% of the time... He has mentioned Bama in 3 of said 100 interviews... So if 3% almost equals 100% in whatever shite pile area in Alabama you grew up in, yes, he talks about the Tide almost as much as the Gamecocks.

This just in: the HBC likes to troll. Sheesh.

He was probably relieved and also even more overjoyed than AU fans after Kicksix. A two loss season and division title is all he's got anymore. He's afraid of losing his podium privileges. Sad to see him go out so paranoid, insecure and bitter about someone else's success.

Wow...speaking of sad..
Bamers are the only one that feel this way about what he is saying. Just because you would get rock hard and drop to your knees if you had the chance to meet Saban doesn't mean he is off limits to the HBC. Saban doesn't seem to take offense. Alabama is the bench mark, you get talked about a lot by many other coaches than just Spurrier. Spurrier has more to his life than just football, who can blame him for that?

Seems to me that Bama fans are more "obsessed" about Spurrier than he is about Bama...

You just made my point for me. I'm glad to know you're already in the process of upgrading. But the fact is at this moment what I said before was a true statement.
Believe it or not, I'm on your side in this. I want South Carolina to succeed. I've stated before that the Gamecocks are one of my favorite teams other than LSU.

That we aren't on par with Alabama in football facilities? No shite. We won't be when we're finished either.
And the stadium itself wasn't the problem. It was bland so we threw some paint on it and finally got a new scoreboard, but it was the surrounding area and other football facilities that we were so far behind in.
But you've probably never been to Columbia which why you have no idea what you're talking about.

Saban works circles around most of the competition, SOS included. It may sound more like a compliment, if Spurrier would acknowledge that fact. Instead, OBC chides Saban for working so hard doing something he likes. SCar fans would crap if Saban said SOS could win a championship at
SC if he spent more time working on his handicap and more time working for the program.

If only Spurrier had worked half as hard as him in the 90's.

You went full Bama. Also he doesn't even play golf during the season.
You guys really let Spurrier get to you.

I disagree with you saying Williams-Brice was particularly behind Bryant-Denny when talking about USC being behind Bama in football facilities.
