I am not. I still hate Peyton Manning today because of the "band leading incident". Damn right I'm still bitter.

Convenient how LSU fans/Spurrier, etc weren't complaining when Alabama was getting it's a## handed to it by Tennessee from 1995 to 2005.
The bottom line is that back in the early to mid 2000s LSU, Auburn, and other SEC fans were actually convinced that the Alabama program's decades long run of pure luck was over and that the dismal shape the program was in was their rightful place. You guys were convinced we'd never be more than a 7 win a year program (despite all evidence to the contrary) and are now pissed that the Dubose and Shula eras didn't kill off the program for good. We apologize for not being the doormat you are convinced we should be.
As for denying LSU their tradition of night home games, Alabama has absolutely nothing to do with that. Unlike you guys, we actually respect your traditions and actually would prefer you get your night home games. Blame the major networks for the game times, not Alabama or the SEC office. If you had an important rivalry that was threatened we'd gladly support you being able to keep it.

Seriously, if this is whining, what was Arthur Guepe's line after retiring from Vanderbilt where he said, "There is no way you can be Harvard Monday through Friday and try to be Alabama on Saturday." He knew the higher academic standards hurt Vanderbilt's football competitiveness. Statements like Guepe's and Spurrier's are just facts. You learn to deal with your limitations and emphasize your strengths.
Also, your inspiration for the UT faithful is useless. They'll never be "better people".

LSU should have gotten behind the 9 game schedule.
Their desire to be anti-Saban was to their own determinant.

Blow up the perma opponents
The SEC would be so much better without the two cross divisional rivalry games

OBC: "Fair? No such thing in SEC scheduling"
The only way to have a fair schedule is to play a round robin.
True, but SS would be whining about who played whom @ home while they played on the road. Also, he'ld complain about when on the schedule those teams fell.

Don't give a damn HBC is the king.

You can also tell Saban to get off his arse and fix his defense instead of trying to change rules.
We've finished with the #1 defense in the conference every year since 2008....
Heck...since 2011, Alabama's defenses have recorded 10 shutouts. That's almost a whole season's worth of blanks in just three years.

My point is dont act like Bama or any school is high and mighty voting for what is best for the conference
What's best for the conference or what's best for LSU? Auburn and Georgia have been meeting annually since 1898, while Alabama and Tennessee have been playing annually since 1928. You don't just shrug off traditions and rivalries like that simply because one or two teams wish it so.
And no, Tulane doesn't count for LSU because they haven't played in the SEC in more than 50 years.

It's not fair in any sport. Some conferences, divisions, etc are tougher than others. All this bitching about Alabama's scheduling is just that....... bitching. It wasn't long ago that Alabama played six SEC teams coming off a bye week. No one else played more than 2 teams coming off a bye. During the 90s you wouldn't hear a peep about our scheduling because Tennessee was a powerhouse. Now they suck but that isn't our fault. LSU is constantly bitching about Florida but they're not a shadow of their former self. If everyone was truly concerned about scheduling than adding an extra game would make it more fair. The more SEC games each team has to play the closer it gets to "fairness".

4 teams have been added since 1992. "Tradition" kind of went out the window 20+ years ago.

They don't need to blow-up any traditional rivalries.
All they need to do is align the divisions properly and all of this would be a mute point.
The problem is that they have the divisions aligned in such a way as to satisfy basically three, maybe four, programs.
Align the divisions geographically and let the chips fall where they may.
Draw a line, north to south, that intersects Vandy and Bama. Send Vandy, and everything west of the line to the West, Bama, and everything east of the line to the East.
You solve all of the rivalry issues between UT and Bama, Auburn and UGA, Bama and Auburn.
You solve the rivalry issue between Ole Miss and Vandy.
It would be done that quickly and all of this debate would be over.
Florida and LSU dgaf if they play every year. MSU and Kentucky dgaf if they play every year. SCAR dgaf if they play Arkansas, Mizzou or A&M every year. We've got an older rivalry with Ole Miss if anything.
A&M would get to play Mizzou every year, no problem. Arkansas would get to play A&M and Mizzou every year.
All of the scheduling problems would be solved instantly.

Tradition goes out the window when you go from 10 to 14 teams.
How is that tradition?

The SEC is the ONLY conference that has cross divisional yearly games
