This is more about the BCS getting attention by the federal government. I personally do not care for the BCS and I'm happy to see it atleast being mentioned. It's not a Bush vs. Obama debate, money is at the heart of the matter.

I agree with you on this one. Bush and the Republicans were not fiscal conservatives. But Obama and the Democrats are far, far worse.

Let him investigate the bcs. His healthcare is dead so he has nothing else to do. He sure as shite doesn't know how to fix the economy, so we'll have to hold on for 3 more years till we get a real president.

Well honestly I wish they'd just do shite like this day in and day out.. They've created most of the problems we're dealing with now, so I'd rather them have the BCS as an agenda for the remainder of the year.. Maybe a market correction could occur this way

so why would we want them to ruin cfb too

Conference championship games won't mean shite cause teams that know they'll make the playoffs will sit players just like the pros. They might even sit em during season ending rivalry games. All this does is devalue the regular season. Why should boise and utah get a playoff bid when they play no one during the regular season

If the government could "fix" the economy, there would never be an economic downturn to begin with... We were drunk off speculative wealth, now we're feeling a market correction.. The quicker legislation stops propping the bubble up, the quicker we recover.. And FWIW AuburnAlum, I'd post subjects like this on the poli. board.. Politics and the Rant don't mix well

If the government can't "fix" the economy then why are they spending trillions of dollars on it? The economy won't right itself on its own. Ever heard the saying "you have to spend money to make money"? That said, the current administration is spending money like it grows on trees, which it doesn't.

I won't bother.. Take a few economic classes, and I'd suggest one structured around the Austrian school of thought.. You'll be surprised how your political thought process changes

I've taken 3 economics classes. None of em were Austrian. And you're being German.
