Nobody was ever scared of playing Alabama. That's just media bullshite.
Not to mention these stats dropped under Saban. Alabama was #9 in FEI in 2023. #8 last year and #12 this year, however the actual rating itself is higher this year than it was last year. Only 0.03 lower than 2023.
And I'm not going to waste time explaining how offensive lines work.
Makes you wonder what the excuse for every SEC team Alabama played this year losing to them is if Alabama is so bad now.
