And you people make fun of ITAT?

You say this even after the numerous caveats prior to the email being posted that it's "real tinfoil hat stuff"?

You're still going to play the "One of you is as good as all of you" card?

Really?

When Trooper Taylor was at Tulane he was less than clean. Word was he was the would drop the cash off for Melwede Moore in popcorn buckets at movies and then hand it to him. I couldn't make stuff up like this if I tried.

I don't know about any of that, but he definitely arranged for Ronald McClendon's explorer along with some minor stuff (cell phones, wardrobe for he and his girldfriend, etc)...and that was straight from McClendon himself because he wrote a paper about it, and why it should be legal, in his English class.

Why is the FBI interested in a NCAA matter?

Because bribery is illegal.

Not surprising at all, but wow. Just wow.

AE and ITAT will probably start banning everyone they even remotely suspect to be a Bammer infiltrator and their spin machine will start cranking out REC theories at a record clip.

This has already been happening for years, FWIW.

Yeah you are right, the FBI can just get whatever they want, whenever they want it, from whomever they want without demonstrating any probable cause or justifying it to a judge. Most police organizations in the country have such broad power. Glad someone has clarified the limits of the FBI's subpoena power.

Probable cause...

Like violating numerous states laws against agents of any sort interacting with amateur players? Or possible tax code violations or tax evasion by the donors of money for pay-to-play scenarios...

I mean...those are just two examples that come to mind.

ITAT is full of lies...

That email looks likely. The FBI is involved for crying out loud. AU says, "AU isn't involved." AU also has Fulmer's old bag-man in Trooper Taylor. Cam plays for AU. Cecil is Cam's father...

AU is implicated...and there's no reason to deny it except a good lawyer's strategy--deny, delay, and defend.

And ofcourse you know the rest of the story. He wasn't eligible out of high school, went to juco, and then ole miss. He was a senior in 2003 but ofcourse he was suspended for the big LSU game that November because....yes, that's right....a booster bought him an SUV.

Edit: Nevermind, just saw your other posts. Not worth the discussion.

Well-my 2 cents is about as good as anyone else's, so here it is. The FBI if they are really involved knows something. They are not going after the peanuts-but the whole processing plant. In this case, Cam and his family are the peanuts. If money for his services exchanged hands, they are going after those who are behind the "shopping" because it may be a much bigger issue than one athlete at one school. Its not merely a suspension/inelegible penalty but a federal crime-EXTORTION and we're now talking prison time. The FBI is through and they have some names to start with. My guess is that they are going after Rogers and his team-maybe others. The peanuts caught the middle were/are just greedy and stupid-but not the overall problem!!!
