Yeah I know... That logic doesn't really mean shite, but I have a hard time thinking that the way OM was playing at the end of the year that we couldn't have given ND a good game.

Eta: teams that would dismantle them:

UGA
USCe
UF
Hell, LSU too

Naw they would've, I just love the transitive property

Bro Wallace would've fed Moncrief the charred remains of Teo and Lennay Kekua

Believe me I know, Jesus Saves but Freezus withdraws

Ole Miss seems a bit big for their britches at the moment. Don't fall flat on your faces in Austin like y'all did against them last year. Because Notre Dame would have rocked tu, and they blew the doors off y'all in Oxford.

This...I am looking at the Ole Miss schedule from last year trying to figure out how a team that lost to every good team they played would beat a team that was able to make the national championship.

We have to go in with our eyes wide open and recruit those areas and play those teams, and somebody's got to try to beat the SEC schools. My feeling was let's go attack this and build the program the right way and recruit in these areas."

That's the first time anyone from outside the SEC has said to bring it on and if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. This is why we moved to the SEC and it appears ND understands this now as well. I actually respect them a lot more now if this is their attitude towards it.

Ole Miss Almost beat LSU, gave us a good game for a half, gave Alabama a good game for a while, and almost beat A&M. Ole Miss would've beat Notre Dame if they were playing at the end of last year.

Didn't say we'd win. Just give them a game. And the Texas game isn't really a fair assessment. Our guys didn't know what the frick was going on at that point.

USCe fans think they can beat ND?

lulz ... you're a dumbass for even asking that question.

BTW, SCAR is 1-1 vs ND, we won in South Bend in modern history.

Yes, we would have stomped their asses last year and last year was their best year in over two decades.

No team in the country was going to beat Alabama that night. By now everyone knows what happens when you give Saban a month to prepare.

I think all of you are underestimating ND. They have two AA on the d-line, went undefeated last year and only lost two key players. Yes, those players were a AA linebacker and their starting QB, but they have the number one rated LB recruit stepping into Te'o's position and a QB that has played in 29 games. If we're talking a regular season game where each team has one week to prepare, I think ND would be competitive against all of the SEC. They aren't the same ND team from the last twenty years. Kelly is for real and is going to have ND consistently in the top 10 from this point forward.

Ole Miss would have really struggled to move the ball against Notre Dame's defense.

Well beat them this year, for the love of God. If y'all lose to them, coupled with Mississippi State undoubtedly getting rocked by Oklahoma State, I'm going to hear about the SEC being overrated til bowl season. I know that over the next 50 years the Mississippi schools will be the basement teams in the division, but get your shite together this year.

Wish they would get back on LSU's schedule again. Have a few repeats of the 06 Sugar Bowl. Buttt buttt Brady Quinn and Jeff Samarja.

Eh I vote no. I'm tired of being one of the few SEC teams that schedules tough OOC games in addition to having a usually decent Tech team on our schedule. No reason to make things harder or to have to travel to Indiana.

Pretty much. Both teams return exactly 19/22 starters. This year's game will look nothing like last year's. Yet, everyone keeps saying shite like, "they hung 60 on old piss hurrr de hurrrrrp... Old myth sux ask Mack brown they suk"

Texas will probably come out 5th in the conference, Mac Brown is a classic under achiever. LSU fans complain about Miles, but no waste talent like Mac. Stopping Gray and Brown will be no small task though.
