I have no doubt Alabama’s defense will try to hit opposing players as hard as they can. Not just LSU. That is what defenses do. Well maybe not LSU. But most defenses try to punish the other guy who has the ball. Maybe that has been LSU’s problem the last 5 years?

Holy crap, this is still going.

I just wanted to finally get in this BK thread. Since it's the 666th post up in here, I can say the devil made me do it.

Remember that time A&M was reminiscing their championship from a few years ago?

We must be satisfied knocking Kelly out of a playoff run. Granted, we play like Week 7 and LSU already had 2 losses.

Isn’t TAM 2-1 against LSU the last three seasons?

Something is off here. Y’all keep going, I’ll figure it out.

34 pages and still going.

Somewhat fitting for a coach with a 20+ year resume of not being able to win anything of note. That’s a long time to accomplish nothing.
I guess we can all take solace in the fact that there was 1 reasonable LSU fan in this thread amidst a bunch of Sidewalk’s incoherent rambling and several other BK defenders.

I mean he did build Central Michigan, Cincinnati and Notre dame into winners.
So he's not awful at all.

Did you mean smell fear in the eyes of LSU fans?

LSU fans don’t want to hear any arguments why someone would chose Freeman over Kelly.

Posted on 6/9/25 at 10:10 pm to JayAg
Have we compared Freeman’s record against playoff teams to Brian Kelly’s record against playoff teams? What about comparing Freeman’a record against top 10 teams and top 20 teams against Brian Kelly’s record against the same the last three years. So many numbers have been thrown out in this thread. Those would be pretty good to use in a coach comparison. And let’s not forget overall winning percentage. That is Sidewalk’s favorite.
If only someone could compile it all in one post that would answer the Freeman vs. Kelly debate.
It does seem, based on the internet, that Notre Dame fans are a lot happier with their current situation than are LSU fans. There have been some mad LSU fans in this thread.

LSU fans’ argument of “I know you are but what am I” is pretty solid too. I won a lot of debates in elementary with that one.

Don’t forget their favorite, “you is so dum”.

When Les Miles is probably more successful overall than BK, Freeman taking ND to unseen new heights is the least of their concerns. In their own words, ND hadn’t been anything spectacular or relevant for the past 40 years until they hired Freeman.
