He can, at least, win the Reliaquest Bowl.

Even Pickett’s charge at Gettysburg had a high water mark. Some Confederates actually made it into the Union line before being slaughtered. For Brian Kelly, his high water mark will be a Reliaquest Bowl victory. But unlike the Confederates, Kelly has been getting slaughtered when it matters for 20 years now. It may be time for him to surrender.

Better to have won it than lost it.

No doubt. Worth a random trophy and a t-shirt.

Honestly, when you think of Brian Kelly’s accomplishments, this Aggie believes they are cup worthy.

Nope. Losing our bowl game the way we did actually helped us. Pissed everyone off at Milroe, ensured he couldn’t come back for another year, and made the WRs and almost our whole defense want to run it back with a serviceable QB. Good loss if there ever was one.

Kelly was good at Notre Dame but when it came time to be great he always folded.

The Oklahoma game didn't do that?

UT and OK contributed for sure, but OK had an extra week rest, home field, and ran for 200 yards rushing….IN THE FIRST HALF. Milroe was really bad, but not the only contributor in OK. We still probably should have made the playoffs on resume alone vs SMU, so team had reason to not just blame Milroe.

In Mich game, there were no disadvantages and no one to blame except Milroe. If we had won that game, people would have said Bama should have been in the playoffs. It was that game that completely solidified we probably had championship caliber pieces everywhere except at the QB. He was a massive anchor.

If that's true, Bama fans should probably worry more about their own head coach's decisions.

Sounds like he's confused.

Kelly doesn’t do 2nd half adjustments on defense. He doesn’t know wtf happens on defense. He gives full control to that side’s DC, who doesn’t know how to stop the run. I told ya that your DT line was too thin, I told ya that yo guys need top tier safeties from the portal too before the 2024 season. But did Kelly go out and get some? No, he proceeds to convert OL to DTs, parades Sage Ryan out there too make a blooper show.

You know Kelly doesn’t run the ball. You know Nuss can’t run and will be a volume thrower this year, replacing an entire OL. That’s keep a “spy” on the check down/Nuss, the DL can pin their ears back and rush Nuss.

It’s like you guys are well aware of your own holes on the team, and somehow when some holes go unaddressed, which are valid concerns, you guys drink think koolaid and forget about them. When they materialize, you guys act shocked at what you knew was coming if a team schemed against Kelly’s tendencies well.

Sounds like you should back the LSU coach over the Bama coach, but you’re a coward.

He couldn’t bench Milroe, was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He made a ton of a bad decisions last year, but that wasn’t one of them. And I’d still bet on him over BK, and so would you apparently lolololol

You don't even know when Kelly's made the postseason and you're going to attempt to give a deep analysis of his team.

This board is too much sometimes.

I’ve been following recruiting forever, I follow SEC ball. You know darn well that DT, Safety talent have been holes on your defense. That’s not breaking news. You know this Nuss threw the ball 100 more times in the SEC than Shedeur Sanders did in the Big 12 in an offense that Deion openly says he doesn’t care to run. He’s a volume thrower that rushed for negative yards last year. Check the advanced stats before you get upset!
