They might actually be able to reach their potential under Marcus Freeman. Kelly just couldn't breakthrough that glass ceiling.

Brian Kelly lost to them a couple of times. They must be good.

They do appear to have some talent.

In the same sense that Kirby lost to Vanderbilt so they must be good.

Yep. Vandy's great. They beat Florida last year. Anyone who beats UF is okay in my book.

That's why I'm not a A&M fan right now.

Anyone thinking Notre Dame is good after playing Navy is missing a chromosome or 10. This was like a walk through practice and required minimal effort. Let me know how they look after OSU...

Notre Dame did get rid of a really shitty head coach recently too. Go Irish !

I mean...just look at their history. It's far more storied and accomplished than LSU's. It should be self-evident what their potential is.

They haven't won a major bowl game in 30 years.

The Irish didn't keep up with the rest of CFB during the arms race in the late 90's and 2000's and it shows.

Did you see some of the LSU fans from other posts saying they were saying Notre Dame will lose to Navy.

Yet Alabama is depending on Brian Kelly's protege to solve their offensive woes.

Not sure A&M should joke about this? Y'all got the NIL talent though, and new OC so 13-1 ? or close to undefeated?

I was thinking the same thing as the announcer's gushed about how good ND is. It's Fracking Navy let's hold the parade for now.

I did think ND took care of business like they should and may be a good team. It's to early to tell. how many pass yards did Navy have? I'm pretty sure there are several of the less competent ppl on here that could have coached and won that game today.

They are looking good.

It doesn't mean they're going to win the national title. It means they beat up on a Navy team that has given past ND teams some trouble. Their QB had 4 TD's and 4 incompletions. They had nearly 200 yards rushing. They held their opponent to 3 points.

That is a good way to start the season. Many teams play weak opponents early and show a lot more warts.

Do you honestly think a poster with the name of Sidewalk Tiger is an A&M fan?
